About Chris

I am a 36 year old husband, father of two beautiful girls and successful business owner.  My wife, Tammy, and I live in Cantonment with our girls who both attend R.C. Lipscomb Elementary.  We have lived in District 5 ever since we moved to Escambia County ten years ago from the Washington, D.C. area, and we believe that this district provides the best schools and neighborhoods that Escambia County has to offer.

I am originally an Indiana “farm kid” having grown up on the family farm in Northeast Indiana, I received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Drake University prior to moving to Washington, D.C. to work on Capitol Hill.  While we lived in Washington, D.C., I had the pleasure of working for both a U.S. Senator and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.  After we moved to Pensacola, I worked for Covenant Hospice as the lead computer technician in their IT department prior to opening Infinity Tech Solutions in 2001.  While my business has not made me a rich man, I believe that I have been very successful for several reasons – the most important of which is that I have been able to run my own company while still being able to spend quality time with my family and be involved in the community.  Any of my friends, clients or even casual acquaintances will tell you that my kids are my absolute number one priority, and they are one of the main reasons that I decided to run for County Commission – I do not want them to grow up in a county that they can’t wait to leave when they get old enough.  I want my kids to want to stay here and raise their families here.

As far as hobbies go, I have a few.  I play golf when time allows (which isn’t very often anymore), and I am an avid stamp collector and the family genealogist.

Growing up, I was taught that when you care about the community you live in, you give back to the community through your time.  I have carried that belief through to my adult life.  My community activities have included:
